Community Guidelines
DiveScores is for divers, their families, their coaches and the officials who run the meet. Most of the people here are children. These are the rules, in plain words.
What we expect
Post about the sport. Celebrate a good dive. Give feedback the way you would in front of the diver's parents, because they are here too. If you would not say it on the pool deck, do not post it.
What is not allowed
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and the account that posted it can be suspended or banned.
- Harassment and bullying
- Telling a diver they are worthless after a failed dive, piling on in comments, or following someone from meet to meet to insult them.
- Hate
- Slurs or attacks based on race, religion, disability, sex, gender, or who someone loves.
- Sexual content
- Nudity, sexual comments about an athlete, or sexualised framing of a dive video. Anything involving a minor is reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
- Threats and violence
- Saying you will hurt a judge, a coach, or another athlete, in any words.
- Promotion of self-harm
- Encouraging a diver to starve themselves to make a weight, or to train through an injury that needs care.
- Impersonation
- Making a profile in another person's name, or claiming to be a coach or an official you are not.
- Other people's private information
- Posting a phone number, an address, or a school schedule that is not yours to share.
- Spam and scams
- Repeated advertising in meet notes, or messages asking athletes to pay for a place on a team.
- Illegal content
- Anything the law where you live does not allow.
Report anything
Every place where one person's content reaches another has a Report control, on the menu beside the content. Choose a reason, add a note if you want to, and send it. You do not have to explain yourself to the person you are reporting, and they are not told who reported them.

Block anyone
Blocking is yours to use, and you do not need a reason. A block hides that person's content from you straight away, and stops them following you, tagging you in a video, adding you to a team, or writing anything that reaches you.
Official competition results stay visible to everyone, including someone you have blocked. They are the meet's record, not one person's post.
What we do about it
DiveScores reviews every report within 24 hours. Depending on what we find, we hide the content, remove it, suspend the account, or ban it permanently. A suspended account cannot sign in.
